Background

Sigmund has worked at VESO for two periods, first at VESO Aqualab from 1990 to 2000 as study director, then at VESO Aqua from 2006. He was employed at the Veterinary College from 2000 to 2006, where he obtained a doctorate in salmon lice resistance. Sigmund works with the fight against fish parasites and has special expertise in salmon lice and tapeworms, as well as documentation of medicines for use in fish production.
