Our primary objective is to facilitate the responsible and safe distribution of thoroughly tested medicines, vaccines and health resources across Norway. In this way, we can help ensure that the animals get the treatment they need, when they need it.

Sustainable and safe food production
Healthy animals provide safe food and sustainable food production. Through robust biosecurity measures, including vaccines and disinfectants, we actively reduce the occurrence of diseases, subsequently minimizing the need for antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals.
Good fish- and animal welfare
VESO places great emphasis on the welfare of animals and fish. We are dedicated to the efficient distribution of vaccines and medicines throughout Norway. This enables timely treatment of sick fish and livestock.
Adaptive trial design
We are sincerely dedicated to conducting trials that adhere to the highest ethical standards, guided by the principles of the 3Rs; Replacement, Reduction and Refinement. We continually strive to enhance our trial models by employing adaptive design, ensuring fewer fish are involved, minimizing discomfort and reducing the duration of trials. All trials must be approved by the Norwegian Animal Welfare Authorities before trial initation.
Environment
Environmental responsibility is paramount for every company, and VESO is no exception. As a proud member of Grønt Punkt Norge, we actively assume responsibility for all types of packaging through approved return systems by the Norwegian Environment Agency. In addition, VESOs department in Vestby is Eco-Lighthouse certified. As an Eco-Lighthouse, we take sustainability seriously, and work continuously to improve the environment and reduce our climate and environmental emissions.
